Letter to my children... March 17, 2024

Regardless of where life takes you guys, there are a few things I want you guys to always remember. 

1. Always be yourself. A true magician knows himself. Every aspect of themselves! From the "best" aspects to the "worst" aspects of themselves. The true magician doesn't "Kill their ego" they train it and make even the worst aspects of themselves work in their favor.

2. I don't want to hear excuses. Either you want it bad enough or you don't. Simple... Like my algebra teacher used to tell us "Excuses are the tools of the weak and incompetent used to build monuments of nothingness, those who excel in it seldom excel in anything else but excuses.

3. To add to number 3, I also don't want you guys to feel entitled, Be responsible for how much you let your environment affect you. Life is hard-Everyone has problems. It's how we react to those problems. Everyone suffers in their own way, Everyone experiences trauma and issues in their own way, Everyone's life is unique, and everyone is born into a unique situation. No one asks to be born into a world of war, no one asks to be born poor, no one asks to be born with health conditions but it happens. "Ni dios es tan bueno, Ni el diablo es tan malo. Hay una linia que los divide y ese soy yo" 

4. Regardless if you guys get involved in the occult or not, I want you guys to try and figure out for yourself "Who is god" "What is god" "How does god work" "Is there a godhead?"

All I can tell you is only "Normal" people think "God" is an all-loving old man with white hair and a long white beard. Hint, Hint

5. Understand the concept of animism. That everything has a spirit. The stars, Sun, Moon, Elements, Stones, Herbs, etc are all ruled and monitored by something.

6. Magic is mental. Magic is being able to control your mind and the expression of the will. The tricky part is learning how!

7. Be physiological and rational about things. Not everything can be solved with magic, have a good accountant, lawyer, credit repair, and financial advisor. 

8. 90% of the problems we have as humans, we cause ourselves. Don't come to me with that (Karma B.S) Every action has a reaction. If you poke the tigger long enough it's going to bite you. I never want to hear you blame others for your mistakes or take on a victim mentality. 

9. It's ok to make mistakes, I believe that's the only way to learn. But making the same mistake more than 3 times is ignorant. 

10. If you want to grow surround yourself with people that are smarter than you but at the same time always be able to learn from everyone! Make sure you are coachable and can take criticism in a positive way, that alone will take you further than most. 

11. Do the opposite of what society tells you. Do what makes you happy, You are the only person that can define "What success truly is" as no two people see "Success" the same way. 

12. All you need is ONE good friend who thinks like you.

13. Thirteen... Thirteen... Thirteen... La Santa Muerte is the start and end of everything.
